All of us are here cause we love playing couronne.
Ever since computer games started to hit the market, so did also cheats. In the eighties we had the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amiga and Atari ST, with games and cheats. I used to play a wonderful little game called "Manic Miner" on the ZX Spectrum. It was a platform game with around 20 levels.
There were cheats availible for the game, but I never used them. Why? Because I wanted to beat the programmer and finish the game with skill.
One fine summer evening me and a friend finally beat the game and passed the last level with our last life. Amazing huh?
Now, why do we play computer games?
Some are addicted to them. Some don´t have anything better to do.
Myself I play computer games to clear my head and to relax. Couronne is a truly fantastic game. I often play it while attending phone meetings instead of thumping a pen on the office desk, or surfing the web for unnecessary information. OR I play it with 100% focus and shut out the world completely.
I must be the most irregular player in Shockplay... I can be TERRIBLE, but next moment FANTASTIC. And now you know why.
This ongoing discussion about cheating is of course necessary, but not unexpected. There will always be cheaters... ALWAYS. And they will find more refined ways to cheat. We will never beat the cheaters since they will find new ways to cheat.
I´ve been accused of cheating with my straight shots. I used to be pretty good at pulling the mouse straight and make a perfect straight shot. But there is no skill in that so I stopped using it. If you see me shooting a straight shot it´s because there´s no other solution, and I guarantee it´s cheat free.
So what´s the point here?
Well people, Rocketman and the other guys have made a great internet site with some amazing games and ways to find new friends - so pay the fee and keep on playing (no I´m not hired by Shockplay) with SKILL.
Skill is all that counts in the end and you will only be respected if you play with skill.
Now of course a list of the most respected couronne players:
Cronos
Mathe
Hektor
Terranaut
Hans-Klauvi
Nine-Eleven
Rocket pimp
Celina Kyle
I don´t think anyone of these use any cheats whatsoever and if they do they are skilled anyway...
I´m sure that I should place a few more people on that list but all those who are my friends know I respect them and I have lots of good friends at Shockplay, I salute you too!
Remember! Skill is all that counts if you want to be respected!
