Today I've added some features to the league system. The match results are now colored (green for victory, red for defeat) You can click on any player in the group, to see the results of this player's matches. If you challenge someone that declines, then it will be a "+" as match result. This means that if you dont play the match, then you will get the points for it at judgement (the match result will be 1-0 then). Hopefully this system will stop players from declining important matches by strategic reasons. A more complex scenario: Player A challenges player B and player B declines. Player A has now an advantage, "+". The next day, player B challenge player A. If player A declines this time, then player B will get the "+". So this can go on until someone finally accepts to actually play the game. I have also fixed the problem with ties. If 2 players have the same score and the same +/- then the internal game between them will decide who comes first. This did not always show right in the table before. Any comments?

i dont play in couronne league atm, due to a lot of college coursework etc, so i am maybe a little "out of date" with the rules in the league, but i was thinking, the +/- scoring seems like a good idea and all, but this doesnt stop the player from being able to put themselves on the do not disturb mode, so the opposing player cant challenge in the first place?

I guess there will always be people that try to get around the rules and the "dnd" can be a problem. But that's one of the million things that is so wonderful about Shockplay. There are live admins that can handle these problems as they arise (as opposed to all the lame sites on the internet ) The one possibility of abuse that I can forsee is this; -Ernie- declined cyberking so cyberking gets a green + and will be awarded the win if -Ernie- doesnt challenge cyberking by judgement. What will keep cyberking from avoiding -Ernies- challenge the rest of the week? Again, I suppose it is up to the judgement of the admins at that point. And , btw, in case you havent noticed...if you run your mouse over the green+ or the red - you will see this: WTG PER! AWESOME JOB!

He can choose to be on DND all the time, or not log in at all. And thanks Lacey and ck for your great feedback

very nice feature indeed.. and I don´t have to ask the others who they have played and how many they haven´t played etc...
but I wonder... it had happen a few times that I had to decline and then right after I send them a message that I will be back soon... bathroom break or dinner or anything that might have come up, will I lose the first set?
... so I guess I mustn´t press the decline button and to send him a message right away and then he can either cancel or wait till I return
I have I got it so far?

If you het a challenge that you dont want to accept then press decline or wait until the other player cancels the challenge. It does not matter, the match will be marked with a "-". But you can still challenge him, and he can still challenge you. It is first at the judgement that the "-" will enhance to a lost match.

Can nothing be tarnished by paranoia in this game?

Today i have fixed some more problems with the league. Before, if you challenged someone, and after he had accepted, while it was connecting, you could cancel and get the "+". Some people found this and took advantage of it. Also, I have changed so a "+" match will give you 3-0 instead of 1-0.
I hope we can give this system another chance, let me know if you find any other problems.

you don´t need to hope, ofcourse we give it another chance!! ,,, a couple of more even. No one can fix a new feature bugless in a short time at the first try Live. I especially like to see the results of every player so I dont have to ask who he has left to challenge and everything, hehe. Saves me some time. hey if you are bored one weekend you could always try and add a BRB mode, instead of just yellow busy. It has happened I got a few messages saying that I shouldn´t ignore the challenges and not to even reply when I have stepped away from the computer a little while. I am not telepathic you know. hehe A red light could be busy and yellow light could be BRB as in be right back

i agree siddan cause when i step out to walk the dog and such i put my don not disturb message up and then people say you stupid **** your suppose to play games why wont you respond AWNSER ME!!!! there should also be something that like you can put a personal away message and you clcik on the persons arrow then click on there "away message" and a message of whatever a member wrote would pop up, basically what AIM has, so people could put something like "ill be back in 5 mins if oyu want a game message me" that would be cool sorry for the long post...

I have to agree with Siddan and Slydog as well. Everytime you step away for a minute and get a message people think you are very unpolite to not answer straight away. Would be cool to have different busy modes like e.g. you have them in MSN messenger

naw,, an onclick away message isnt neccessary according to me, would be enough if it was just automated and the player who messaged the BRB user will then receive an instant auto reply away message
I also don´t think any more away modes need to be available, since I at least will be logged out after 20 mins of inactivity hehe

You can click on any player in the group, to see the results of this player's matches. Any comments? Can u do that with the tournaments as well? It would be very nice.
